What you can expect when you join the team

As an SRE Specialist you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our services. You’ll be tasked with improving and maintaining the resiliency of our infrastructure through automation, monitoring, and incident management.

Your daily life

During the day, you will be led to:

  • Implement DevOps best practices to ensure uptime, reliability, and scalability of critical systems;

  • Support robust monitoring and alerting systems, ensuring the observability of the different infrastructure levels;

  • Focus on automating routine tasks such as incident response, scaling, and deployments to improve service reliability and engineer productivity;

  • Partner with software engineers to ensure that the design and deployment of systems meet reliability and performance standards;

  • Participate to incident response, resolution, and post-incident analysis, including documentation and review to prevent recurrence;

  • Proactively identify areas for performance improvement across systems, optimize cost efficiency in cloud environments, and contribute to long-term infrastructure planning;

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 production support, ensuring system availability and managing internal communications during incidents.

Job requirements

Your profile

Are you autonomous, self-taught and curious? Do you handle pressure well and make thoughtful and responsible decisions? Do you like the challenge, staying up to date, being informed and working in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for a friendly working atmosphere and are you looking to fit into a great team? The sky is the limit! If you have :

  • 3 years or more of experience in similar functions;

  • Experience in cloud infrastructure management (Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP);

  • Experience with Docker and orchestrators (Docker Swarm and/or Kubernetes);

  • A mastery of continuous integration (Jenkins);

  • Comfort with MySQL and NoSQL databases (asset); Or Microsoft SQL Server (Xacte)

  • Experience in monitoring (stack ELK) (asset);

  • Experience with Ansible and Terraform (asset);

  • Relevant programming experience (C#, Ruby, Javascript or Python) – You must know how to code!
