What you can expect when joining the team
As a Senior Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in bridging Petal’s business strategy with product strategy and execution. Overseeing our Analytics & Insights, Scheduling, and Revenue Cycle Management solution lines, you will drive strategic prioritization, resource alignment, and execution oversight across the product portfolio.
You will work closely with Product Operations, Product Marketing, and Engineering to ensure that product initiatives are aligned with business objectives, delivered on budget, and generating measurable value. You will also lead and develop a team of Product Directors, championing best practices in product management and instilling a culture of outcome-driven decision-making.
Your daily life
In your day to day, you will be led to:
Define and execute a portfolio-wide product strategy aligned with Petal’s business goals;
Ensure product roadmaps support the company’s long-term financial objectives and market expansion plans.;
Lead long-term planning cycles, aligning investments with high-impact opportunities;
Work with Product Ops to track business case performance and ensure earned value realization;
Oversee delivery of key initiatives across Analytics, Scheduling, and RCM;
Manage trade-offs, risks, scope, and resources across teams;
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on go-to-market success;
Lead cross-functional alignment forums to support execution at scale;
Coach and grow a team of Directors and Product Manager;
Embed best-in-class product processes and outcome-driven thinking;
Champion a market-driven, healthcare-informed product culture;
Bring deep domain expertise in care orchestration and healthcare operations;
Apply domain knowledge to refine product strategy and prioritize solutions that drive provider value.
Job requirements
Your profile
Are you a strategic product leader with strong healthcare expertise, known for aligning product portfolios with business strategy, mentoring high-performing teams, and delivering results through thoughtful execution? If so, this role is for you!
Requirements
10+ years in Product Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within healthcare;
Proven success in portfolio-level product strategy in enterprise SaaS;
Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and product operations;
Experience managing managers and scaling high-performing product teams;
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
Demonstrated ability to align product initiatives with business cases and track earned value;
Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret P&L statements, model business scenarios, and make data-driven investment decisions;
Experience with financial tools and metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, Rule of 40/60, gross margin analysis) to support strategic product planning;
Experience in care orchestration, workforce management, or RCM;
Bilingual (English/French);
MBA or equivalent business education.
