What you can expect when joining the team
As HR Manager, Business Partnerships, you are more than an HR support function: you are a strategic leader and advisor. You will be deeply embedded within the teams you support, from team leads to VPs, influencing business strategy, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness.
Your expertise will ensure managers at all levels have the tools, insights, and strategic guidance to build high-performing teams and navigate change effectively. In this role, you will:
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders while also supporting first-tier and second-tier managers in developing their leadership capabilities;
Own and drive HR strategic planning for the functions you support, ensuring HR initiatives align with business objectives and long-term growth plans;
Deliver quarterly reporting, using workforce insights to influence decision-making up to the HRVP level;
Anticipate and solve workforce challenges, leveraging HR data and business trends to drive proactive talent strategies.
Your daily life
Develop and execute HR strategies that drive business outcomes, ensuring leadership at all levels is equipped to manage talent effectively;
Partner with team leads, managers, directors, and VPs to build high-performing teams, guiding them on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness;
Lead change initiatives, ensuring managers at all levels are supported in adapting to new structures, processes, and cultural shifts;
Implement strategies that enhance managerial effectiveness, employee engagement, and team performance across all levels;
Act as an HR champion within the business, ensuring people strategies are not just supported but embedded in daily operations;
Navigate organizational challenges and workforce dynamics, providing strategic solutions that balance business goals and employee experience.
Job requirements
Your profile
Are you a forward-thinking HR professional who thrives on advising, influencing, and driving business success through strategic HR leadership? Are you looking for the opportunity to actively participate in the expansion of a growing Canadian company? The sky is the limit! If you have:
A bachelor’s degree in industrial relations or equivalent;
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist, with a track record of strategic HR leadership and business partnership;
An understanding of SaaS business models and the ability to align HR strategies accordingly;
A natural ease in building relationships, developing internal partnerships and networks;
Leadership presence and influencing skills, capable of engaging managers of all levels in impactful discussions;
A strong foundation in workforce analytics and HR reporting, using data to drive decision-making;
The ability to drive change, implement HR strategies, and navigate complex workforce challenges.
Strong critical thinking and judgement, paired with the ability to make decisions and be accountable for the results;
Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) to support a pan-Canadian team.
