What you can expect when joining the team
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a key leader within the finance team. You will work closely with the company's financial leadership to support our growth mission and ensure the quality and consistency of financial information in a multi-entity environment. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for professional development, with a clear path to higher leadership roles.
Your daily life
In your day to day, you will be led to:
Managing financial operations for the Rest of Canada (ROC) region, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with national policies.
Analyzing financial performance for ROC locations and delivering insights and recommendations to the Director of Finance.
Leading regional financial projects, including streamlining financial processes and enhancing readiness for broader initiatives.
Supporting the budgeting process by gathering and providing regional data and assumptions.
Acting as a liaison between the head office and ROC operations, ensuring seamless communication and execution of financial strategies.
Supervising and mentoring a team of Accounting Technicians, fostering their professional growth and development.
Improving internal controls across the region and ensuring their relevance in a fast-growth environment.
Collaborating with the Director of Finance to integrate financial processes and practices for newly acquired companies.
Preparing or reviewing compliance reports for governmental and regulatory submissions, including overseeing regional tax compliance processes such as R&D tax credit claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conducting ad hoc analyses based on operational needs.

Your profile
Are you a finance professional recognized for your attention to detail and passion for continuous process improvement? Are you seeking a role that matches your ambition and skills? A bachelor’s degree in accounting and a recognized professional designation (CPA is required).
5 to 10 years of relevant experience (including at least 2 years in a similar role).
An in-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and curiosity about their application in a SaaS context.
Proven experience managing an accounting team.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
Excellent organizational skills and proven experience managing multiple simultaneous projects.
Competence in financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends and recommend improvements.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset.
A proactive attitude and high adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.
