What you'll do
In this role, you will:
Enter and review medical billing claims with accuracy and efficiency
Apply diagnostic and procedure codes while ensuring compliance with billing guidelines
Process both electronic and paper claim submissions
Review remittance advice to identify discrepancies, denials, or missing information
Make corrections or adjustments to claims when required
Support claim reconciliation activities to ensure completeness and accuracy
Maintain clear and accurate documentation within billing systems
As you gain experience, you may take on additional responsibilities related to claim follow-up and reconciliation.

Your profile
This role is a great fit for someone who:
Can manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail
Has strong verbal and written communication skills
Is comfortable using computer tools and systems
Works independently with a high level of organization and accountability
Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
Has experience in the medical field, medical transcription, or medical administration (an asset)
