What you can expect when joining the team
Reporting to the Director of Software Development, you will be responsible for advising and leading Agile teams on practices and processes for fast and quality execution. You will play a critical role in facilitating, shaping and reshaping our Agile management approach to keep our teams engaged and performing.
Your daily life
During the day, you will be led to:
Help software development teams apply an Agile framework, bring them to a higher level of maturity and implement changes effectively;
Coordinate the various organizational Agile ceremonies such as planning, daily, review, retrospectives, etc.;
Coach teams on the best practices of Agile principles, continuous improvement and introspection to improve team efficiency and mobilization;
Solve problems that hinder the work of teams and conflicts, facilitate communication between team members and act as an interlocutor between cross-functional entities;
Help the team to aim for self-organization by proposing strategies adapted to the different challenges;
Establish effective inter-team communication processes;
Support product managers, technical leads (staff dev, tech lead) or any other key role to ensure optimal fluidity in the delivery of product value;
Intervene in case of conflict in order to resolve them;
Support product managers to process backlogs (scheduled lists) and new requests;
In collaboration with the Director of Software Development of the vertical in which you will be dedicated, help to resolve complex, particular or delicate situations;
Participate in creating a productive environment where team members take ownership of the product and enjoy their work;
Actively monitor market practices.
Job requirements
Your profile
Are you an advocate for the "Agile Mindset", who believes more in adaptation than in the application of pure theory? Are you ready and interested in solving complex problems and in coaching, training and mobilizing your colleagues around best practices? The sky is the limit! If you have:
4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or other experience relevant to the functions;
In-depth knowledge of Agile concepts, framework and philosophies (scrum, kanban, nexus, tdd, bdd, devops, quality culture, continuous experimentation);
A collaborative, inclusive and human leadership style;
Knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence) (asset);
The ability to work harmoniously with others and have a constructive/solution-oriented approach to challenges;
Experience in a fast-growing company (asset);
An interest in the field of health (asset);
Have recognized certifications in the field (eg PSMI, PSMII, PSK, PK) (asset);
Fluency in French mandatory, English minimum intermediate level required.
